Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting some talented primary school students at GURTEC as part of Zukunftstag 2023. The day was all about inspiring the next generation and giving them a taste of what the materials handling industry is all about.
As a leading manufacturer of conveyor rollers, we wanted to showcase our production processes and offer a hands-on experience to the students. They were able to dive deeper into the world of conveyor rollers, where they learned about the various components and how they come together to create a functioning system. The highlight of the day was when they were tasked with assembling a roller themselves. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to explore a career in engineering and learn some valuable skills.
It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and curiosity the students brought to the table. They were eager to ask questions and learn as much as they could about the industry. We hope that this experience has ignited a spark in them and that they will consider pursuing a career in engineering or a related field.
